About the Southern Lehigh Warriors

3 Original Southern Lehigh Warriors
The Warriors began AAU competition in the spring of 2003 as the Southern Lehigh
Samurai. Their colors were red and black. The roster included John Binder,
Zach Coulson, Ian Hall, Josh Kohler, Sam Marcinek, Christian Neumann,
Matt Ramspacher, Mike Schmersahl, Jared Songster, Will Stern, Connor Topper,
Joey Wagner, and Andy Zimmerman. The Samurai finshed the season with a 9-8 record.
2004 NAYS Jim Thorpe Tournament Champions
2004 was the Warriors second AAU season. The roster included Joe Wagner,
Mike Schmersahl, John Binder, Will Stern, Josh Kohler, Matt
Ramspacher, Ian Hall, Connor Topper, Kurt Linhart, Sam Marcinek,
Zach McCrory, and James Binder. Their colors were blue and gold.
The Warriors posted a 13-9 record, winning 3 medals,
including 1 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze.

2005 AFBE Nazareth Silver Medal Winners
2005 was the Warriors third AAU season. Their colors were
black and orange. After getting sent home early 0-2 in a disastrous
initial tournament (Reading PAL), they turned things around,
finishing 9-10 and winning 3 medals: 1 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze.
On the roster were Joe Wagner, Mike Schmersahl, Will Stern,
John Binder, James Binder, Matt Ramspacher, Josh Kohler,
Sean Albertson, Kurt Linhart, and Zach McCrory.
2006 AFBE Reading PAL Bronze Medal Winners
2006 was the Warriors fourth AAU season. Their colors were Carolina blue and gold.
The Southern Lehigh contingent of James and John Binder, Mike Schmersahl, Will
Stern, and Joe Wagner was augmented by Cory Greiser (Palisades), Drew Hall
(Bethlehem Catholic), Steve Kunkle (Emmaus), Tony Forliano (Faith Christian),
and Zach Zima (Kutztown). The Warriors finished 18-10 and won 1 gold medal, 1
silver and 1 bronxe.

2007 Southern Lehigh Warriors
2007 marks the Warriors' fifth AAU season. Their colors are navy blue and white. Five-year players are John Binder, Mike Schmersahl, Will Stern, and Joe Wagner. 2007 is James Binder's fourth year.
Back for a second year are Cory Greiser (Faith Christian), Tony Forliano (Faith Christian), and Zach Zima (Kutztown). New additions Jimmy Grewal (Southern Lehigh), Cory Schmidt (Southern Lehigh), and Dan Silver (Saucon Valley) round out the squad.
